So I am very excited to announce that Brendan and I have finally settled on an idea for our thesis film that we will be doing this upcoming year. Here is the first pass of the design for our main character. Hopefully you all like her!
I love this design! I think it's very strong. I like her glasses and I think she could be very lively and I can "see" her personality come through the design. I would point out (though this may be exactly what you're going for)that her design could still be a little more streamlined (she's got, to my eye, a bit too much going on). But I think the overall shape works, and this is a first pass after all (and a great one at that!). I'm so excited to see her in whatever world you guys are putting her! Go KIKI-&-BRENDAN!
thanks julio! yeah, i was going to simplify her a little more for the animtion, we just want to keep the feel that she's sort of eccentric and lively, as you say! glad you got that impression from her.
Oh!!! So good! Reminds me of wallace and grommit type character design a little bit... or no, maybe something canadian I saw somewhere? gah! Whatever - it reminds me of you guys kicking ass hard!!!
