I have a lot of trouble drawing myself, which surprises me considering how much time I have spent looking at myself for the past 20 years. So I will just say this is my...uh, cousin.
20 years looking at yourself...you narcissistic girl! j/k :) I like it. I know what you mean haha. It's really odd drawing self-portraits sometimes. It's hard to look at you as a subject with the same objectivity and dispassionate methodology that drawing objects or other people can elicit... I'd like to share these with you for inspiration. They're some Kathe Kollwitz' self portraits... Hope all is going well and you're taking care! :)
Haha, Julio, I think you still did not tag the html, I cannot see the link! However, I know of Kathe Kollwitz's work, I will try to look up some of her self portraits. Thank you for your comments! It is true, it is very difficult to look at yourself objectively...also, there is no room for mistake, since people know that it's you! With a model, it is easier because people have no idea what they looked like anyway. Anyway! Thank you. :D
